THE NOTEBOOK

When I chose 'THE NOTEBOOK' as the title of my blog, honestly there is something behind it :)

I am inspired by a best-selling novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks who is undoubtedly my favorite love story author.

The Notebook is an achingly tender story about the enduring power of love, a story of miracles that will stay with you forever. 

It is a love story between Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who had gone through many obstacles in the relationship, but because of the power of love, they were finally spending the rest of their lives together.

I actually got to know about the novel from the film The Notebook. And I was thrilled most with the beautiful scenery of coastal North Carolina (which is my dream place, after al-Harom). Of course, the story line was heart taking, miraculous and sweet..... :)

This is of course an American written novel, but without doubt I still love it. Nicholas Sparks has always got the right word at the right time. He is indeed a good writer, and I love the way he arranged everything. Everything is expressed so beautifully and right from the heart. Those are the real things that I value in his novels, the beautiful words and the wisdom of love :)

To value the love story from the Islamic perspective, I would relate this to the love-bond between a married couple. The beautiful relationship between a husband and wife, how to make the life together so meaningful, and how to sustain the sweetness. It's the power of LOVE ;) Which require efforts, sincerity, sacrifices as well as blessings from Allah.. :)
